Created by Nicole Snyder and Eric Charmelo ‘Ringer’ is a new The CW thriller. Set in New York, the new series follows the lives of two twin sisters Bridget and Siobhan. The two sisters aren’t very friendly towards each other and live in different cities.

Bridget’s life turns upside down after she witnesses a murder taking place. She becomes a witness after the FBI assures her the agency would protect her. Despite this, Bridget is afraid and knows her attacker could capture her anytime. Frightened, she decides to go to her sister Siobhan.

Siobhan lives in the New York city and appears to be living a successful life. She is wealthy and has a handsome boyfriend named Andrew Martin. She is going to marry Martin very soon.

Once together, the sisters try to forget their past and move on. One evening when they are together on a boat, Siobhan mysteriously disappears. This frightens Bridget and in order to escape blame, she decides to take the identity of her disappeared sister.

Only after she starts pretending Siobhan, does Bridget realize not everything is calm in Siobhan’s life. It is not long before she is attacked at Siobhan’s home and the event convinces her she is not safer now.

Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as both Bridget and Siobhan, Ioan Gruffudd plays Andrew Martin and other important characters in the series include: Agent Victor Machado (Nestor Carbonell), Henry (Kristoffer Polaha) and Gemma (Tara Summers).
