When Bridget Kelly, a recovering drug addict, witnesses a murder, she decides to hide and assumes the identity of her twin sister, Siobhan, who has disappeared. She later discovers secrets about her twin sister’s life. FBI Agent, Machado, decides to stay in New York, in an attempt to find out more about Siobhan. Bridget attempts to hide the body of her attacker and confides in her NA sponsor, who tries to help her get away. Their plans are spoilt by an unforeseen party thrown by Siobhan’s husband, Andrew. Bridget bonds with the step daughter of Siobhan’s best friend, Gemma. Bridget is getting close to finding Siobhan’s killer, through tracking his phone. Agent Machado, who is unaware that Bridget is Siobhan, is still hunting for Bridget. Bridget discovers some compromising information about Andrew. In an attempt to locate Bridget, a sadistic gang star abducts and tortures Malcolm.

Meanwhile, it is revealed that Siobhan is alive and living her new life in Paris. Siobhan later meets Tyler, a banker who works for one of Andrew’s branches. Bridget’s secrets are revealed and her fate is left in Gemma’s hands. Siobhan attempts to get more information about Bridget and Andrew by getting close to Tyler. Agent Machado uncovers some crucial information. When Bridget confides her secret in Gemma, she is asked for a tricky favor. Agent Machado investigates Malcolm’s disappearance. Bridget and Henry are put in a sticky situation while attempting to find out who killed Gemma. When the police start investigating about Gemma’s disappearance, Bridget is forced to reveal to Andrew and Henry that she has a twin sister. Bridget asks for Charlie’s help to locate Gemma. Charlie is later revealed to be Gemma’s attacker and Siobhan’s contact. Malcolm escapes from the gang stars and heads to New York.
